Spring flush
With winter now behind us the garden is flourishing with new growth and new flowers everywhere you look. All the hard work I have done is finally beginning to come together and starting to look amazing!
With good winter rains the plants have recovered from the heat bashing of last summer, and hopefully this summer they will fare much better. More natives are being planted which should cope much better with the harsh summer heat and drier conditions. A number of trees have also been planted and these should soon be providing much needed shade or partial shade to the garden and helping reduce the overall heat around the garden and the house, which hopefully will mean a much more bearable summer for us.
Nick and I definitely feel blessed that we were able to get this property at the time that we did, and to now know that we can happily stay here "forever" which gives us so much peace of mind especially during these uncertain times.
I think you will notice a considerable amount of growth, and change within the garden, since my last update. Hope you enjoy these new batch of photos.
